Sunbeam’s Award Winning Design Group continues to develop innovative appliances that command international recognition. An opportunity exists in our Sydney Design Studio for a professional Model Maker or Pattern Maker.

This role involves delivering high quality visual and functional models of our latest designs and innovations to contribute to our exciting range of new domestic products.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in Model Making for Product Design, an excellent eye for detail and high-level understanding of manufacturing technology and processes. Skills and experience in CAD or CNC operations will be viewed favourably.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; a capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously is essential.

This position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented, mechanically-minded Model Maker to work closely with our Marketing, Design and Engineering departments.

Specific Skills:

Understanding of basic electronics. 
Ability/experience in modelling with jelutong. 
CNC, Objet Printer programming experience
