studio equator is a multi-disciplinary creative design agency whose focus is on growing our clients’ business using engaging and memorable design. Our dedicated team of designers bring a fresh and artistic approach to every project, and delight in providing innovative solutions to whatever challenges come our way.

As our client base is continuing to grow, we have an opening for a technically minded PHP Developer, either Full time or Part time - we are flexible, but need someone a minimum of 3 days per week. We hope to find someone for an immediate start.

The purpose of this role is to develop, enhance and maintain our clients’ websites. To qualify for this role, as a minimum you will have:
• Intermediate knowledge of PHP
• Solid understanding of database design and modeling (experience in MySQL is preferable)
• Strong understanding of CSS and HTML (A portfolio demonstrating your CSS skills will go a long way) • Flash or actionscript experience is a bonus

You will be working within a small team of enthusiastic design and development professionals and reporting to the production manager and our creative director. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
